Do I need to sign a contract?
If you decide to retain our care services after our initial no-cost, no-obligation meeting we will clearly outline what you have selected in a service agreement. This agreement insures that everyone involved has a clear understanding of the care we will be providing as well as the cost. A client may cancel the contract at any time.
Do you complete background checks on all of your caregivers?
Yes, once a caregiver applicant gets through the first stage of the interview process we do a criminal background check before moving forward.
Do you fully employ all of your caregivers?
Yes, all of our caregivers are employees of CareCentral Inc.
Do you provide your caregivers with worker's compensation?
Yes, since all of our caregivers are fully employed we take care of worker's compensation insurance. This eliminates burdensome paperwork families would be faced with if they were to hire someone directly or through an agency that does not fully employ their caregivers.
Are your caregivers bonded and insured?
Yes, all of our caregivers are insured and bonded for your peace of mind.
Do you withhold social security, federal, state, and local taxes?
Yes, since all of our caregivers are fully employed we take care of Social Security and all income tax withholdings. This eliminates burdensome paperwork families would be faced with if they were to hire someone directly or through an agency that does not fully employ their caregivers.
How do you train your caregivers?
All of our caregivers participate in an on-going training program to ensure client safety and well being.
When do I get to meet the caregiver?
After the initial meeting we will work with you to select the right caregiver that best suits your unique care needs.
Does the CareCentral office have a supervisor on call at all times?
Yes, we have a trained supervisor on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including holidays.
What type of records do you maintain in the home?
A daily log of activities will be maintained for the client and family.
Are your services available in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, or Assisted Living Facilities?
Yes! CareCentral caregivers are available to provide assistance to clients of nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities, for long or short-term assignments.
Will Insurance pay for services?
Services are typically private pay, Long Term Care Insurance, or paid for by home/community based service agencies.
Long Term Care insurance will normally pay for our services, but we will verify benefits prior to start of service. We also provide homecare services thru the Veteran’s Administration.
Medicare does not cover non-medical homecare at this time.
